The Austin Board of REALTORS® shows a 3.4-month supply of inventory for Williamson County. While this is a 0.8-month increase from last April, it’s still well below the 6-month inventory needed for a balanced real estate market.
Low inventory means there’s less competition for sellers, a higher possibility for multiple offers, and higher sales prices.
High Demand
Due to the low inventory in the current market, buyer demand for homes is still extremely high. This means there are likely more pre-approved buyers eager and ready to purchase homes like yours. Faster Selling Process
Homes in Williamson County are currently on the market for an average of 58 days, according to the Austin Board of REALTORS® April Market Stats. Not only is this a 25-day decrease from last April, but it shows that homes aren’t on the market as long and are selling more quickly. Many buyers have been looking for the perfect home for a while and want to be moved in before the next school year, so they’re willing to negotiate the best terms with sellers to get the deal done as quickly as possible.
